Discover the company history, quality management system, sustainability approach and career opportunities at Pespa Alumin.
Pespa Alumin is built on experience, industrial development and continuous investment in aluminium manufacturing. From company foundations to today’s integrated production cycle, the focus remains the same: reliable aluminium solutions for architecture, industry and project-based applications.
PESPA Alumin was established on 6 March 1995, evolving from a small self-employed business into a limited liability company. During its first years, the company focused primarily on aluminium and glass projects, while becoming one of the early importers and suppliers of aluminium systems and materials for the developing Albanian market.
A major step in the company’s development came with the investment in Albania’s first aluminium profile extrusion facility, together with its supporting technological lines. This period marked PESPA Alumin’s transition from a project-oriented business into an industrial manufacturer, establishing the production capabilities that would support its future growth.
With its manufacturing capabilities established, PESPA Alumin began expanding beyond the domestic market. The company entered Western Balkan markets and developed its presence in European countries, including Italy and Greece, while continuing to participate in increasingly complex architectural and construction projects in Albania and the region.
This period marked a major industrial transformation for PESPA Alumin. Continuous investments expanded and modernized the production facilities, bringing key processes in-house and creating a complete manufacturing cycle. International certification of production and quality processes further strengthened the company’s capabilities and supported its development as an export-oriented aluminium manufacturer.
At the end of 2019, PESPA Alumin’s production facilities were severely affected by the destructive earthquake that struck Albania. Through an intensive rebuilding process, the company restored its facilities and production capabilities within approximately one year, resuming operations and continuing its development in both domestic and international markets.
Today, with more than 31 years of experience, PESPA Alumin combines engineering expertise with a complete in-house manufacturing cycle for aluminium products, systems and structures. Continuous investment in technology, production capabilities and technical know-how supports a global sales network across three continents and the development of solutions for architectural, construction and industrial applications.
At PESPA Alumin, quality is managed throughout the entire manufacturing process, from design and raw materials to production, inspection and the finished product. Our Quality Management System brings together documented procedures, production controls, qualified personnel, inspections and traceability.
Design, production and quality procedures are defined according to the requirements of each product and project. Technical documentation and specifications provide a clear reference throughout manufacturing.
Production is monitored throughout extrusion, machining, welding, surface treatment and assembly. Factory Production Control allows quality requirements to be checked during each production stage.
Materials, components and finished products are inspected according to defined requirements. Internal controls and laboratory testing support verification and traceability.
Production results, inspections, audits and technical feedback are used to continuously improve processes, maintain consistent quality and respond to project requirements.

Sustainability in aluminium manufacturing starts with the material itself and continues through every stage of production.
Aluminium is durable, lightweight and recyclable, with the ability to be returned to the production cycle without losing its essential properties. At PESPA Alumin, we combine these characteristics with responsible manufacturing practices focused on material recovery, efficient use of resources, energy management and controlled production processes.
Aluminium is well suited to a circular economy because it can be recycled repeatedly and used again in new products. Aluminium scrap generated from extrusion, cutting, CNC machining and other processes is collected and separated.
Efficient use of aluminium begins with good engineering and continues throughout production. Managing the main manufacturing stages in-house allows better control, reduced waste and continuous improvement of production efficiency.
Water management is an important part of aluminium surface treatment. Water used during our anodizing processes is treated and monitored before discharge, with regular controls supported by our in-house laboratory. This allows us to maintain direct control over the process and operate in accordance with applicable environmental requirements.
Our photovoltaic installation generates renewable energy that contributes to the energy needs of our manufacturing facilities. Together with continuous improvements in production processes and equipment, the use of solar energy forms part of our approach to improving energy efficiency and reducing the environmental impact associated with aluminium manufacturing.
We monitor carbon-related indicators associated with our manufacturing activities as part of our environmental management system. These measurements allow us to evaluate the environmental performance of our production processes and identify opportunities for further improvement. Specific carbon performance data is maintained and evaluated based on verified measurements and applicable requirements.
Environmental responsibility is managed as part of our overall manufacturing system. PESPA Alumin operates in accordance with applicable legislation and the permits and licenses required for its industrial activities. Our management systems are certified according to ISO 14001 for Environmental Management, ISO 9001 for Quality Management and ISO 45001 for Occupational Health and Safety.
